Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN),
also known as Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN)
A FEIN is a
nine-digit number assigned by the IRS to individuals, new businesses
and corporations or llcs. The IRS uses the number to identify
business taxpayers who are required to file various tax returns.
